The linkasink Story

Born in the 1990’s in Phoenix, AZ from a designer’s frustration, Linkasink is a family story written with copper, brass, and the hands of artisans across the globe.

Linkasink is the creative vision of noted interior designer Kirk Guthrie. While working on an interior design project, Kirk found himself unable to source sinks manufactured in copper — so he traveled to Mexico and sought out copper artisans to create a custom piece for his client.

With no prior experience in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry, Kirk displayed his line of copper sinks at the Kitchen & Bath Show. The response was overwhelming. A company was born.

the origin

Kirk and his wife worked side by side to develop the first copper sink finishes. The company’s name carries something personal: it was inspired by his wife’s childhood nickname, “Linka”. For a family-owned company built on collaboration and craft, Linkasink was a perfect fit.

what’s in a name

‍Artisans around the world use centuries-old techniques to individually create the raw components that become every Linkasink product. Our sinks are made by hand, then our local artisans spend countless hours hand finishing every product to order at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Our Artisan Glass sinks are crafted from start to finish 100% here in the USA at our local artisan glass workshop.

Whether in copper, concrete, bronze, brass, glass, or stainless steel, no two Linkasink sinks are exactly the same. That’s not a limitation — it’s the point.

made by hand

The Linkasink collection continues to grow, expanding from sinks into vanities, hardware, and new collaborations with artisans around the world each year.

Kirk’s creative vision as a designer first and always is what keeps Linkasink at the forefront of luxurious innovation.
